Here’s the thing, my coach doesn’t have the slide out tray, it’s fixed. But, only two house batteries. Before Corey left we discussed it and he said when I come up for the tile replacement we would work it out.

Makes sense... we have a fixed tray (does not slide). Could be production cut over.

New batteries batteries have arrived. Documenting project below for anyone that wants to take this relatively simple one on. Our goal is to increase the house amp hours and go with all AGM vs the chassis lead acid batteries.

First...we documented the connections

Removed batteries and tray. Cleaned up tray and supports below the tray. Allowing paint to dry for a few days.

Out with the old and prepping new batteries. Going with LifeLine GPL-4DL house batteries and FullThrottle FT1100-31 chassis batteries.

Will add pictures as the progress completes this week. Next steps will be:

- Install batteries with additional hold downs

- Build a few more jumpers for the additional house battery to be tied in parallel to increase amp hours while keeping 12V system

- Will also have to adjust the Inverter setting for the increase in amp hours to 630.

If you don’t mind me asking, what was your cost on the Lifelines?

Had to fabricate an additional battery strap tab for the back 4D battery. You will also need to purchase one additional battery strap/tie down.

New Batteries Installed. Increased Amp Hours on the Xantrex to 630 and tested. All works Great!!!!

Congratulations! You will enjoy the peace of mind that comes with those extra amp hours.

Also, your installation looks great.

Take care!
