Bed legs too short

Went to use sofa pull out bed for the first time on my Isata 5 and the legs are too short. The bed is on a slant from top to bottom. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes. Found that they were wrong at our walk through. My wonderful dealer said he would have the right legs sent right out to my house. It's been 4 weeks. I emailed him about it Wednesday, and then again this morning. Finally he called me and said he needs a picture of the tag on the couch before he can order them.


REALLY???? It's the same couch that is in every 30FW, there is no option, and this was supposed to be handled the day we picked it up.

When the bed is out, mine is flat at the couch, then drops at a 45 degree angle for about 10-12", then is flat again.



Not possible to use it like that.

Yep, seems it's a problem on every single one! We are not needing it but if we do DH will make wood blocks for under the legs. That should work. I feel for those who were expecting to actually use that bed!

All of our sofa were pretty much flush floor...so normal legs are fine. once you raise that up on a slide floor, it needs a new leg kit. There was a time, we ordered them, but the supplier never delivered and the install guys just went on, business as usual. There is a "long leg kit" with instructions. I think I posted it here a while back.

So what are we supposed to do, sir? Wooden blocks in a unit as pricey as my Isata 5 30fd just aren’t acceptable. What about a new couch or longer legs??

There is a longer leg kit. I posted it a while back. You can contact your dealer and they Should be able to hook you up

Over 2 months and still no long leg kit. Starting to wonder if it really exists........

Ours arrived within a month. Maybe call the Dynamax rep for your area? We simply got the dealer to request it and it came.

Does it work? Seems like it would still not make for a flat bed. Ours isn’t flat even with the blocks the dealer made for us. Still lower in the middle.
