Boondocking spot in PNW (SW Washington)
If ya'll venture out to the PNW this summer and want to a place to boondock, we've got a 20 acre fallow pasture with a beautiful view of Mt. Hood you're welcome to stay on for a while. We're thinking of turning it into an RV park since there isn't much else available within 20 miles of our place. So we are interested in getting a few people out there to see what they think. We're about 40 minutes East NE of Portland, OR. It's about 7 minutes from highway 14 between Camas and Washougal [map] We don't have any services yet but we could probably get you well water in a pinch. Grey water just helps the field grass grow. Black water, you'd probably have to drive the 10 minutes to the local public RV dump.
Our area is a pretty outdoorsy kinda place with lots of hiking and natural wonders and attractions. Lots of Microbreweries and coffee houses everywhere. Activities/attractions within a reasonable drive:
Gateway to the Columbia River Gorge
Home to the Pendleton Woolen Mills
Mt. St. Helens volcano
Mt. Hood with Skiing and snow sports and during the summer - alpine sledding bicycle trails, hiking, jeep trails, camping
Hood River - the Wind Surfing Capital, and all the wineries, breweries, distilleries, and the Fruit Loop (tourist pear and apple orchards (including hard ciders) in a concentrated area 35 mile drive)
SternWheeler paddle boat river cruises in both downtown portland and the columbia rivers.
World famous Washougal Motocross
Portland International Raceway
Salmon and Sturgeon fishing
Beacon Rock
Timberline lodge (from the movie the Shining w/Jack Nicholson)
Crown Vista House
F ort Vancouver - A restored original frontier settlement/trading post
New Downtown Vancouver Waterfront
Water Falls - Dougan Falls, Multnomah Falls
Ape Caves - Hikeable miles of lava tubes
Steigerwald and Ridgefield Wildlife Refuges/walks and ornithology
Skamania Lodge with zip lines, golf and tree house cabins
Mt. Hood Railroad
If you come in August, there is all the wild blackberries you can pick and eat. Literally you can pick a 5 gallon bucket full in about an hour. You could hop the fence and have some of our u-pick blueberries, plums, apples or just walk the trails through the fields and woods around our farm along the little Washougal River (about 150 acres)
Plaid Flannel shirts recommended but not required
Just PM me if you're interested.

Washington coast boondock
How far are you from Bremerton? My daughter lives there. Your place sounds dreamy! We could easily boondock with our DX3 now that we ha e our 600w solar and 800 amp hours of battery as long as we have ample sun. May have to consider this!

Thanks for the idea but I'm not ready to open it to the general public yet. I wanted to post it here for the relatively small group of Dynamax owners that may come up with way. Just putting a toe in the water.
Bremerton submarine base is about 2.5-3 hours away. Beautiful drive up that way.

Technically I am over Dynamax AND the Forest River Class C division, which includes the Solera. While I was at that division, we gave the 24W Solera design, now 24FW (which was built on the Solera to start) to Dynamax to get started with a Sprinter series. Then I moved over to Dynamax in 2015 and ended up completing it. So really, in a 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon sort of way, a Solera IS a Dynamax give or take.

On the full site, click the member's name - that produces a pull-down menu. Click "Send a private message to ____________."
On the green FRF app or the orange Tapatalk app, click the member's name then click the box with the envelope system and the word MESSAGE.

Full site? Members name?
Thank you for your response. I must have a very old version of Forest River Forms. There is no listing for "full site" There is a listing of "HOME" but no members under it. I did go to the response he sent me clicked on his name and then selected send PM from the drop down. I just now also opened my control panel and found "private messages" listed toward the bottom and just

IF you are viewing Forest River Forums through an internet browser, you are using the full site. There is no selection on it for full site because you are on the full site. I tried to distinguish it from an app you run on a smart device. You can’t have an old version of FRF because you’re using the current version on the internet, not one in your computer. I suggested for you to do what you did.
At your leisure, click on this thread and read every post: https://www.forestriverforums.com/fo...sics-6778.html. Every member gets a link to this How-To thread when she/he registers here.

If you think you can fit it in that field, then there is probably room enough for you.
