Can Shower Curtain Opening be Reversed

Having just returned from out first extended trip (6 weeks) in this coach (Isata 4 25FW), there are of course things we discovered to add or change/improve. One thing I thought of was changing the shower curtain to open on the outside wall side, so that you don't have to balance and step around the toilet when getting out of the shower. When I mentioned it, my wife also said she had thought the same(!!). As installed, the shower curtain opens on the interior wall side, where the shower head and valves are.

It seems like opening on the outside wall end of the shower would allow a much easier and safer step out. The shower curtain has a sticker from Shower Enclosures of America, P/N 3264NA. However, their website gave absolutely no information on their products, and I got nowhere with a phone call to their robo-machine. It seems like the existing curtain hardware may allow a left-side opening (instead of right from the outside) with the same parts.

Does Dynamax have any installation instructions available for the shower curtain? Nothing on the flash drive that I can find, or the supplier contact PDF.

interesting...I guess I didn't even realize it. I always assume it is just like the 24FW (which the shower is, but the toilet is reversed). I am pretty sure they can be reversed.

It is called the Arcadia Soft Shower Door. I used to have a sales sheet on it years back that might have shown that for sure...but it seems to have vanished. Patrick bought them.

Someone named bclemons posted the Arcadia cut sheet on the Solera forum back on 2-06-15 http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ain-74941.html. Good memory, Brian. But yeah, reversing that shower opening is probably an improvement you could look into when you re-start production on the 25FW.

That sales sheet doesn't help me with reversal, but I'll save it anyway. Surely your factory guys have some assembly instructions, or do they all come mostly assembled right handed?

The reason I am pursuing this is that I have a repair appointment in a couple of weeks to fix the black tank flush line that is not connected under the shower. You checked w/ engineering and found that the repair involves removing the shower pan, so that would be the perfect time to get the curtain reversed. I trying to get some decent instructions to give the repair techs, so that the shower reassembly is not a major modification that they would not be willing to do as part of warranty work. Otherwise, I'll do it myself.

Just for the record, I expect they will also have the toilet out to fix the leakage there, so lots of work will be going on in the bathroom. http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ts-190167.html

Had better luck calling the manufacturer today. Yes, the soft shower door can be reversed. Here are the instruction and part sheets:

Thanks for the info regarding this - as you mentioned, it involved moving several parts, and with the rework, I was able to caulk everything on the water side, not like what came from the factory... no more navigating around the toilet after a shower!

Just wait until you have to replace the curtain. What a nightmare.
