Caulking Needs Work

Hey guys...there are a number of you who are really in the know about these sorts of things. While washing my Isata 5 yesterday I noticed the caulking between the nose cone and the truck cab has splits in it. This coach is about a year old so some maintenance is expected. What kind of caulking should be used to fix this? Should the old caulking be removed or is it ok to go over the top of the old stuff?

Brian Clemens recently posted a chart of Dynamax external sealants:

On our Solera, I use two types- Dicor Self Leveling and Dicor no-sag. For what you pictured, I would clean with acetone, then with denatured alcohol, then fill over the old caulk with no-sag.

Brian’s list may recommend a different caulk than what I use.
