Center Console install XL/DX3

Had this sitting for awhile, mounted the bracket with 2" self-tapping sheet metal screws...I did not connect 12V to the Outlet inside the console, maybe at a later date if required...can be unlatched, removed, reinstalled easily...two compartments...two sliding sections, easy access, plenty of storage...

Looks nice! And as MASTERBLASTER said, will enjoy that extra space while on the road!

Couple questions:
- where did you ordered this?
- rough cost??

I would think it would fit on our Force HD too!?!? Thanks...

Looks like it would work nicely. However, my dog would not be happy. That is the area he lays while going down the road.

This is the one you want...the bottom bracket has 4 hooks that lock the console down extremely tight....the other type is single latch and doesn't work well and it is shakey...these can be easily painted to much your interior (I did) one can of Duplicolor Vinyl Spray paint from O'Reilly's...

Center console

Check out BUILD 5 FAB.I bought a console from them made out of metal that fits my 16 XL perfectly. Comes with drink holders and power supply option'
Great addition.

Great addition.
I looked at it before installing this one and about 3-4 other options, I really don't see what the FAB 5 is all about, you still have to bend over to reach anything?...doesn't make ANY sense at all to me, the stock cup holders are hard to reach as well...wanted something handy, comfortable, and reachable "without" having to even move or "bend over" from my driving position...worth it for me...and much safer...this Console can also be remove in two seconds, as well as connecting 12V power is an option also...two enclosed storage compartments more than ample for my needs

FAB 5 is not user friendly at all for me...the Chrysler Town and Country or Caravan Center Console is very user friendly, much better storage, aesthetically pleasing, removable, makes much more sense in my opinion....but each to his own...see attached photo of how Freightliner Specialty Vehicles set up their Sportchassis Cab...very functional and comfortable without moving from driving position...

I thought about doing a setup like the sport chassis. But it would make it difficult to get in and out of the coach area from the seats.

Yes sir, it's a nice setup, but a helleva junk catcher...and getting over it is almost impossible with breaking something unless you're a gymnast....

Went for a 60 mile round trip today, center console is perfect for my needs...may need a 1/2" to 3/4" shim on the front, but it worked great! Worth the $150 install...

The newer model ones are the most stable and securely latched, they have 4 hooks that secure to the base plate making them very stable and do not shake....the older ones with dual latches on only one end are a bit shaky and wasn't desirable for me...heres a newer 4 latch Center Console...these are the BEST ones to utilize...https://www.ebay.com/itm/11-16-Town-...EAAOSwX2pfvWQY....and another....https://www.ebay.com/itm/08-2012-Tow...UAAOSwrXhfsAkx...and another....https://www.ebay.com/itm/08-15-CARAV...gAAOSwSBBf~iN6...cheaper yet....https://www.ebay.com/itm/11-12-13-14...oAAOSwROldqKz5
