Our choice is a large SS expresso pot.

It can be loaded in the PM, so all that is required is turning on the range in the AM.

It is fast and requires nothing but fine ground coffee and water .

The noise it makes when the brew is ready is a great tell tale, to get back out of bed and serve the heart start!

Lil jo user here too. We always have K-cups on board so it just makes sense when we don’t have power. The Aeropress looks interesting though. I like the fact that it can make more than one cup.

We still have and occasionally use the aluminum stove top percolator we
bought at K-Mart when we started tent/boat camping back in the 80s.

All metal so you can stick it in the fire if that's your heat source.

Very cool!! I'll have to try it. I use a larger Keurig at home( I hate stale coffee in a pot), I originally bought a small size Keurig for the rv; I hated it and gave it away, now I have a 4 cup coffee maker, a melitta filter(pour hot water in;just ok), and a small 12v plug in coffee maker (very slow!)

Thats what we do too. Although it can take 15-20 mins from the time we light the propane stovetop till coffee is done. When we are connected to shore power we have an electric percolator and have one of those outlet timer plugs set to start brewing at about 6:30 AM. We have gotten spoiled having hot coffee already made on the counter when we get up.

If you're talking about the My Jo, I've been using mine for 5 or 6 years now and have used it way more than a dozen times and it works as good as it did new.
