Question Couch to bed in 2017 DX3

What am I doing wrong?
When I open the couch I gave a large gap at the top. This space will eat small children.
Is there an additional step to bring the couch to the wall that I am not doing?

Did u put the cushions back in? The cushions from the back of the couch fill the space

Even with putting the cushions on, there is still a.large space at the top of the couch. Is there a step I 'm missing to get that space reduced.

There will always be a gap to account for the angle that the backrest is at in the sitting position. When that folds down it will leave some room between it and the wall so it is designed to have that space. We have had some customers fill that gap with extra blankets, pillows, etc. Also helps give you more headroom if you're taller than the average bear

Thanks, not at the motor Home right now. Taking the Grandkids with us next week and was just wondering if I had opened it right during my trail opening.

The gap used to be more obvious before we moved the sofa back a little bit. So it could have been an earlier one? Photos always help too!

I can not figure out how to post the picture but I measured and there is 12 inches from the wall to the back of the couch when it's open.
