Damn It Looks Good!

I wanted to comment on the 2021 Dynamax DX3.

I really like the new rear cap tail lights and the more sculptured front cabover.

Disclaimer: I don't know this RV dealer from a hole in the wall. I just found it on the web. It happen to have a lot of good shots of the new DX3.

One thing that annoys me about some Super C MFRs...when they forget about proportions and symmetry. The front cabover on the new DX3 looks sleek and proportional. It's just right for a rig that size.

Totally agree. They look great and they're more functional too.

The front cap is now able to be bolted much more securely into place

The rear cap is made in 2 pieces now so that replacement is simpler and cheaper in the event of an "oopsie"

For the record, thats a fantastic dealership as well!

Making the rear cap in two halves was very smart. Good move from Dynamax.

Now, I will say a rig at this price point should have...a slide out battery tray. My 2 pennies worth

Another item I wondered about the Dynamax brand.

Air conditioners are notoriously noisy. Why not consider the method Newmar uses for mounting air conditioners?

Dynamax should use this rear cap for the Isata 5. I’m glad I got mine before they went to the flat (travel trailer) backend with two bulges for lights. Really took away from the look that separated them from the regular travel trailers out there.
Also, Brian had a poll setup for the color of the air conditioners they use and a lot of people chose the white which, IMO, is a horrible idea for the looks of these rigs.

We just did a factory tour yesterday, Gareth did a good job and made sure we were able to see where our new XL was at in the production process. Agree, they look very good! Ours is finally getting some color on it, looks like the white stripe and the lighter blue is now drying up.

Completely agree with newly designed rear cap as well as the looks of the front cap, only wish the bunk was a bit taller on the inside, but, I get it.

Glad we already have the black AC units on-top as well, I think they look classy.

Regarding the black-out package, I have never been much a chrome guy, but I really think the XL with the factory shiny stuff looks really nice too.

Hey,

If you're in the 300K space...you might as well go BOSS HOG all the way.

Nice setup MoJoe!, I see that's a 2021 XL, do all the canopies tilt down like that? I've been wondering but forgot to ask yesterday.

I believe Dynamax is transitioning to Girard awnings which extend like mine. Not sure if 100% of the current units have had that change made at this point. Above my pay grade. I’m just extremely thankful I was fortunate enough to have the Girard’s installed on mine.

Jeesh...I can stare at this rig all day.

Paint choice along with black accents is very well done.

I really like the paint schemes from Dynamax, but sometimes less can have a bigger visual impact. Going with a single color paint job almost forces you to look at other visual aspects of the rig.

Is that a pearl white? What was your thought process in choosing a single color paint job over the intricate paint schemes?

Please post some more pics.

Damn It Looks Good!

Thanks for the kind words.

Yes, pearl white. The decision was easy…my wife doesn’t care for what she calls “the swoopies” on the paint jobs. So, when it came time to order the new one, she wanted a solid color with no “swoopies”. She appreciates the detail and work that goes into the Dynamax multi-color paint jobs, but her personal preference is the solid one we ended up with. Honestly, it is my favorite as well.

All I said when we ordered it was we wanted solid white. BC and his team picked this pearl white and we think they nailed it! By the way, the finish on the solid paint they do is first class like all the others.Click image for larger version

When did you get your rig MoJoe? Our 3400KD is in the paint booth right now, just drove out there and back to see it on Friday. Noticed you have the new front cap so thinking you probably haven't had it very long. Hoping to get ours in ~ a month.
