Dismounting our 50" tv in out Force HD

We have the Force 37 BHHD with the 50" tv above the fireplace. We want to install a sound bar underneath, where one should be, not in the bedroom, where it is (don't get me wrong, it sounds great). Wondering how difficult it is to dismount it, I already have a Bose waiting to be hooked up.

The 50" TV above where the fireplace would be (we didn't get the fireplace cause we wanted more storage) in our 8529IKBS is on a swivel mount that swings out... but snaps locked into place when back against the wall. I had no clue it even moved until I seen a unit at the show where they hadn't installed the TV. You might see if yours is the same?

I was looking at the TV the other day, wondering how it mounted. When I looked at he mount behind the TV I saw what looked like two levers. I assume pulling on those levers would allow you to lift the TV up and out of the mount. I haven't confirmed it, but I'll have a look at it this weekend when I pull the rig from storage.

I have a few ideas about that upper cabinet area, like hinging the TV, similar to the bedroom, and using the space behind it for discrete storage (small safes for guns and valuables). The mods wont happen any time soon, but I'm thinking about it.
