Dometic Frig Door Latch Not Releasing

We just picked up a 2022 Isata 3 FW. All appears working well EXCEPT for the refrigerator door on the Dometic DM2672 frig.

The freezer door unlatches and opens easily. The refrigerator door will not unlatch...requires prying with a knife to get the door open. Have already broken and replaced the handle. The cause of the problem is the refrigerator door is either 1/16" wider than the freezer door or the hinge bushing is off by 1/16".... in either case the edge of the refrigerator door is 1/16" 'tighter' against the door jamb than is the freezer door and, even when handle pulled, the latch is still firmly engaged.

I've not found anyway to adjust the hinge to allow for this door size discrepancy.

Has anyone else had and/or solved this problem??

If you just bought it take it back to the dealer and have them fix it under warranty if not I would look at bending or resitting the hinges to move the door over the 1/16 JMHO also look to ensure the seal is not pushing the door over just a thought

I think your suggestion to "bend the hinge" is spot on. I'm going to order an extra set and, with he help of a butane lighter, soften the plastic and bend it. Thanks!
