Door Keypad Issues
Hi everyone...
Today, the keypad would not work. After troubleshooting, I found that several keys are sticking down vs releasing when pressed. If I manually pull them up, they work for one use then stick again. Has been working great since purchasing in Dec. Just started.
Any ideas on where I can get a replacement key button insert? The r Ed the electronics are fine.

You didn't say what year of coach you have. The 2018 and earlier were Challenger Door. Not sure of the newer ones.
The lock is made by POP Locks. Your door may still be in warranty depending on year.

I ordered a new one as well, but would need to see a pic to know if it is the Pop Lock. Sun probably got the rubber parts of the keys all sticky.

yes, poplocks. I would try parts at Dynamax first, depending on your warranty. If not they can be reached here.

Thanks again Allan
Our warranty is good until Oct 2021. Having our local service (National Indoor RV) work several warranty items when we return from FL. Will have them repair this one as well.

The whole panel will need to be replaced and activated using your remote. If you don't have a remote, you will need to purchase one.
I have replaced two of these over the last 6 years. Quality is not the best.

So I pulled one off the shelf to see if I could make it behave that way. Took it apart put it back together wrong on purpose Just could not get the buttons to stick under the cover. I would have to say that the plastic cover is just formed wrong and replacement is the only fix.

Mine sticks all the time - it’s always one side slides under the bezel - if I look at it to make sure none of the keys are “stuck “ it always works then

Thanks Dan. I appreciate the help.
We found that the buttons that are sticking can be pulled off. They are not attached securely to the keypad. Can we just get a replacement key pad insert and not have to completely remove and replace the entire unit?

I guess I’m the lucky one. My keypad has worked perfectly always. Once or twice I went to use it it didn’t light and I had to bump the door to get the contacts to engage. That’s it.
