Driver’s swivel seat- won’t. Hints?

Our DX3 has the front seats that swivel. The passenger seat works just fine. However the driver’s seat won’t budge an inch.

We have followed the directions in the book (positioned driver’s seat just so, pulled the yellow handle, tried to move it at a 45 degree angle to the middle and back—) will not budge an inch. Seat belt out of the way.

Any hints, tips, advice? What else can we try?

Thanks, Gerry and Jim

I gave up swiveling the seats like the directions say. I go around and open each cab door. You grab the round bracket and pull it down. This releases the seat. Just grab the back of the seat and turn it around. I can do both seats in 30 seconds

I think I have seen some, the part that the yellow paddle attached too, was not lined up properly with the release. So you would pull, but it would not line up with the pin and so was effectively NOT releasing. If you are pulling the black part you are bypassing that.

Edit: today we just use the National swivel that is on their Daycab. Does not get around the steering wheel like those old ones...but much simpler and does not raise the seat height. Only work with the stock seats however.

Thank you-

Yes, pulling the release turned the seat 90 degrees. Then we had to pull the yellow lever (which worked this time); do the 45 degree angle pull, then it turned the rest of the way.

Now both front seats are swiveled toward the house part.

Thanks again for the help.
