DX3 4x4
I can't remember who was looking at 4x4...but we happened to have one online this week. They opted for the more rugged tire, which looked pretty cool.
No wheel covers fit those studs however. So you get "rugged" there too.

Pardon my ignorance, but the cab looks more like a Force.

dmax36...it does. This was a special request on a DX3...they wanted the cab over bed.
Option price on the M2 106" 4x4 is around $39k MSRP. It varies a bit because we special order the chassis...so we get a quote each time and it has varied for whatever reason. The nice thing is that it gets upfit to 4x4 right on the Freightliner production line.

I may have to unmount my wheels and bring them up for powder coating . How much taller is the 4x4 unit?

I'm not aware that it is taller. Those tires might change things though...but that is on top of the 4x4 option. Otherwise they come with the normal tires and wheels.

Brian,
what is the approximate price of that nice 4x4 rig?
What is the towing and OCCC on that unit?

MSRP starts around $179k on the Isata 5 Series.
MSRP starts around $298k on the DX3 plus the 4x4 option.
OCCC varies based on options. It can be as high as 1500-1600 (Isata 5)...but then if you start loading up options it will fall from there. 4x4 obviously adds weight, solar, extra batteries. We're also constantly in the process of finding new lighter weight products, and as long as its not a downgrade, we'll implement as soon as they are available and tested.

Brian, was that 1500-1600 OCCC on the Big DX3 from the picture you sent or going back to the Isata 5 we were discussing in earlier threads?
I thought the DX3 4x4 would be higher OCCC (and price)

That is one impressive rig! I would like to see a picture of the full beast. My local EMC has a whole fleet of AWD Freightliner line trucks, real beasts.
