DX3 Basement bin latches

The latch on my basement bin has got a little more play in it than I'd like. Almost certainly due to the pile of crap I carry around. I've since installed a strap to keep it from leaning on the door, but wondering if those latches can be serviced or replaced without having to replace the door? I see rivets that makes me wonder.

Any insights?

I believe we pull them off when we need to here...just depends, you may have been pre-MORryde doors. We used to use Wiley, but switched to MORryde sometime in 2016 I think.

That looks very familiar. For 10 bucks may be worth the experiment

no, but this picture does. If you have a plastic plunger it is a Wiley door.
