DX3 cooktop shows error code..

One of the electric burners on my DX3 shows a "U" when turned on. The pots and pans are the ones that came with it and work on the other burner. I've looked for error codes and cannot find anything to point me in the right direction. Anyone have any error codes or any experience with these cooktops?

I don't find a "U" in the troubleshooting manual for the true induction double burner cooktop so I don't know what would be wrong. I have replaced the burners individually before on a different coach (SOB). If you have some DIY skills, the cooktop opens with twenty some screws from the bottom. It can be difficult to get someone on the phone for customer service at true however, as I recall. Good luck.

Our cooktop I think just pulls out. Literally. It then has a cord to an outlet inside.

"U" from what I knew was that it did not recognize the proper pan, you were not on the proper burner or you were not positioned properly.

Brian,

Is there a reset or something? The pots and pans are the same ones that came with the RV and whatever pan it shows that code on, I can move the same pot to the other burner and it works.

I've tried at least 4 pots or pans on both burners and they all work on the other burner.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Mark

My thought is that you might need to google "one pot" recipes

It may be that one burner going out. You can try to unplug maybe? to reset? Beyond that there are no moving parts or anything that I am aware of.
