DX3 Order Customizing

DW and I are looking to make the plunge for a new DX3 37TS and likely will order through Motor Home Specialists in Alvarado TX when we move there later this summer. We will work within the order process but want to know a few things before engaging the dealer.

I've searched the forums and can't find a post that asked these questions before.

1. She likes to hang dresses and slacks and wonders if the wardrobe closet can be made longer by removing one or two of the drawers below the closet in the very back of the 37TS floor plan?
2. DW also would like to know if the factory could install all-wood valances and lambrequins throughout the coach?
3. Also, I wonder with an all-electric coach if we can option the induction cooktop to be the removable kind so it can be used outdoors?

Thanks in advance for any insights.

1. no. The bed actually comes in underneath the wardrobe. That is the only way we could get an 80" bed. The drawers are actually recessed slightly.

2. We do not currently have them designed, so that would be an "unlikley". We may be able to do one solid color.

3. We only have the one designed in. In theory, they are all removable as I think they all just plug in. Some might be more portable than others however.

Highly recommend the all electric setup. That’s what I have and love it. The batteries hold power so well that I have never even seen the auto gen start have to start the gen. You will run the gen to cook usually at least once a day and that’s all it needs to top off.

Yup, I love my all electric too, my wife not so much. She's spent her whole life cooking on gas and isn't crazy about the induction cooktop but it is growing on her ... slowly. Me? All I need to survive is the microwave.

Portable one burner induction cooktops are pretty cheap on Amazon.

I think you can order a coach all electric BUT with propane just for the cooktop? Brian would answer that one.

Personally this was the first induction ive ever used, and i more than love it. So much that i changed the spec in the house im about to have built to have all induction stoves.

I got the propane configuration and changed the cooktop to induction. Just took a little wiring and some cabinet mods that were not extensive.

Now I have "all electric" with the onboard propane which I use for the AquaHot (newer ones use diesel AquaHot) and I have a plug in for my Blackstone Griddle.

At home we cook on commercial gas range and find that using the induction works "close enough" to gas.

In regards to wardrobe. I guess instead of the washer drier you could use that cabinet for long wardrobe. My DW has come up with a folding method to get around the short wardrobe cabinet (our FW tank is under the bedroom wardrobe cabinet. She also likes long dresses.
