DX3 TPMS advice

Hi Folks,

New DX3 owner here. We love it! Can I get some recommendations on a TPMS system for my 2019 DX3BH? Appreciate any thoughts ya'll might have on a reliable, accurate system.

I have used the TST Tire Pressure Monitoring System for years. It has always worked flawlessly for me and their support has been first class. I added sensors to my toad two years ago and, again, they have been flawless and accurate.

TST is a good brand.

But really the key is to get a TPMS and use it. Just yesterday my towed Jeep picked up a screw on the highway and the front driver's side tire went down quickly. If I hadn't had a TPMS (with sensors on the Toad), I'm sure I wouldn't have realized it for a while and totally trashed a Rim (or worse). The TPMS already paid for itself.

Do it now.

I use the RVI Brake 3 with the ipad type device, added on the RVI Battery charger for the tow vehicle and the Tire Patrol. All works through the same tablet. I really like having everything on one item, easy to read and update when needed.

Hi Bill,

Did you get the flow thru or cap sensors for the RV? Looks like I can get all 6 flow thrus for the rig (I have steel stems) then tack on cap sensors for my jeep. Thank for the advice.

TST is by far the best system on the market along with exceptional customer service. Purchase with TechnoRV and the after the sale service and instruction is the best you will ever receive.

I have Cap Sensors on both of my two TPMS systems. (A TST system I kept when I sold my last RV and a system that came with my new-to-me Force.) Both sensor systems have been fine.

Thinking of getting there caps and wondering if you still like this system? I have the RVI Brake control and love it.
Thank Don

They lasted four years because I remove them for winter storage. They are not in the sensors for around 5-6 months. I didnt change the valve stems, the M2 has solid brass stems.

TST Repeater Location

Where do people wire in the TST repeater for the TPMS? I would like to tie it to the ignition wire from the M2 cab (DX3 34KD). My plan is to look at the wires for the stairs and find the ignition signal wire from there. I'd be interested in what others have done.

I thought they came with the TST. My 21 Force did, as did my 2018 Isata 5. Look in the bottom drawer below the cook top. It may already be there. In mine the repeater was mounted under the bed in the back.

DX3 TPMS advice

They were not standard on the 2018 M2’s. I had to add the TST 507 system to that one. My 2021 M2 XL had them as standard equipment. Not sure what model year they became standard equipment. Rehirsch8 doesn’t indicate the model year of his DX3. Not in his profile either.
