Dx3 TS QUESTION

We just started loading out our new Dx3, moving up from our Isata 30 FW. A Valentines present (!?) for the DW. First problem... where do your ladies store the pots and pans? On our Isata we had two large pull out drawers under the dinet benches but on this coach they’re missing. Boys I gotta keep the missus happy, Also, wow is this different, any advise on operations will be humbly accepted.😎

I store mine under the dinette. Have the pot set that came with coach, large toaster and large electric skillet all under there with some other stuff. Lift the seats

We have a 2014 DX3TS and I installed a shelf under the sink because it was a nice size area but most of the volume was wasted. I had to install the shelf in several pieces so I could get it in there. We also put in a vertical dividing wall at one end so we could put large, but thin items in there like sheets & trays. I used prefinished oak flooring remnants I found at Habitat & they worked perfectly.

We bought a set of pots that store inside themselves, put it under the sink. Handle comes off as well

I got some adjustable wire racks from Home Depot Put pots n pans under sink. I also put the wire racks in the overhead cabinets. Doubled the storage space. For tall stuff just shorten the rack some on one side. It was uncanny how much space there is in a TS. We keep the dog food under the one dinette seat and the other is the wine locker.

Have fun with your new rig!

Both have pros and cons.

The drawer is nice..its a drawer...but the bigger you make it, the harder it is to control and ball bearing drawer guides only go back so far. So you don't take advantage of all the space. The M2 trucks have always use this dinette style instead...While it does not have the drawer, the seat lifts up easier and you get 100% of the storage. Instead of a little bit as a drawer and a little bit under the seat.

Maybe, I can figure out how to do a smaller drawer on the face...it just doesn't look as good as the dinette does without.

Thanks Brian,
I’ll partition part of that space off for the pots&pans. I had put snaps on the under seat drawers to keep them from sliding out in the Isata but I didn’t know there was more available storage in there. I’m learning this Dx3 is not only bigger but somewhat different in approach. One puzzle though, we no longer transport kids, is why the very necessary smart dvd is in the loft where I need to climb a ladder to access it? A strange place. It’s not a critical complaint, I’ll just add that to my daily exercise regimen,

When you get the cab-over, we put it up there. Otherwise it was going in the cabinet at the entry door as I recall. I don't ever play DVD's as I stream most everything. I'll have to look into that one.

I personally like all the storage, rather have that than a drawer with less room.

Our dealer moved the DVD player for us when we picked it up. They said no big deal to move it. We put it in the box above the door. Works fine.

True...now that the matrix is up there, it no longer "just" feeds the front TV form where it was. It feeds the matrix, which then feeds the rest. In fact, I could save some wire length if I move it up there.

Move the satellite on/off switch while you’re at it. [emoji6]

So I can just disconnect it and reconnect at the matrix with a short hdmi? Easy!😎
