DX3 vs XL

Other than the 106 to 112 upgrade and better finishes is there anything else mechanical that is better on the 2024 XL vs DX3 models?

Good to know. Does the XL have electric floor heat? Also can the XL be ordered with the 112 plus with the safety assurance package?

Last but not least can the 3700RB be customized to make the dinette and couch slide as large as the on one the 3400KD by shrinking the size of the cabinet across from the pantry?

Floor heat-no
Safety Assurance-no. it is very expensive and only comes with all the features on a Detroit engine/transmission package. We're hoping they bring back the WABCO, until they full roll out DA.
Slide Modifications-no

My DX3 has floor heat, but not from the factory.

I added it from under the chassis by installed these down the center if the subfloor above the driveshaft and center of the bedroom floor area:

And then covered them with foil-backed foam insulation for insulation and protection from road debris:

Added a switch to the dash to control it and relays in the electrical bay.

It does take time to heat, but because its below the subfloor, the heat spreads nicely instead of two hotspots even in 40 degree weather.
