Dynamax at Sturgis

Appears to be a large gaggle of DX3's at the Buffalo Chip campground at Sturgis, SD this week. JTAD just stopped by and said he has seen more DX's here than he's ever seen on the road. We've had 4-5 folks already stop by and admire the rig, did 2 walk throughs too. I should get a commission.

The riding has been great too. Now we're off to the Keith Urban and George Thorogood concerts tonight. Wish you all were here!

You all be careful riding out there. We were at the 75th and final result of an idiot passing a semi on his Harley was his highway peg hitting our friends highway peg when they passed going opposite directions.

Luckily everyone kept the bikes up and no injuries / accident but could have been a mess.

From the time we could see him till it was over was 2 seconds based on the GoPro timestamps.

Happens fast so be careful out there.

If you are on them enjoy “Da Bus” when riding around too. [emoji3]

Had an awesome ride with jtad yesterday. We did about 100 mi of some very twisty roads south of Rapid City. Hit Mt Rushmore and a local microbrew as well. Morning started off with rain but we waited it out and had a gorgeous day. I shot some video so will be sure to share once I get it downloaded and edited.

Sorry we missed the ride, sounds like it was great. We got home Monday evening, 8.5 hours straight through. Rig ran like a champ and no issues all week.

One weird thing, I was prepping the rig to head to the race track Thursday and discovered one of the bay lights on. Checked the other bays and every single light was turned on. I never turn them on nor does the DW. Guess I need to start locking all the bay doors. Someone's idea of a prank I guess at Buffalo Chip. Nothing was missing

Sure somebody didn't just hit the compartment light switch accidentally?

Or somebody hit the ‘master’ button on the main light switch panel (assuming you have multiplex)?

Ok, so reminder to all that the speed limit in SD of 80...

As quoted to me while I was out there “there is no plus on our speed limit, it’s already 80”.

Not admitting I heard it first hand or anything 🤬 but just saying.

We were driving a car at the time.

We don't have a master switch for bay lights, you have to push a rocker switch on each light fixture and some of these lights are up high, almost hard to reach. I could accept accidental activation on one or two, but not every single bay. And I never go in bays like the electronics, etc

Hmm odd. I have the rocker switches (which I leave on all the time) and then have a switch on the panel right inside the the door that kills power to all of them. So when I want them on I just hit that switch and they all come on. If you're plexed maybe its in the menus somewhere. But agree if you keep your rockers off all the time then its pretty odd.

I don't have any multiplex. Just the regular old rocker switches on the left when you enter and the regular separate controls (generator, solar, leveler, slides, tank levels, etc) in the small bays behind the driver's seat.

Maybe I'm missing something, what's the master switch inside the door labeled that turns them all on or off?

Yep, you are right and it does control all of the compartment lights except the wet bay. Sort of a D'oh moment but at least I learned something new! Thanks for the info.
