Dynamax DX3 Propane Quick Connect

I have a 2015 Dynamax DX3 37RB, I want to install a quick connect propane system to be able to more conveniently connect my barbecue and fire pit without having to carry an extra propane tank. Has anyone else done this?

I ran a line across the back of our unit from the propane tank to the passenger side, it has a shut off valve on the end. I use it to hook up our Blackstone. Ours is a 2018, so there was a quick disconnect available up on the front side of the propane tank, so I just added a hose from there to the passenger side.

I simply went to Homedepot, bought the pipe, measured it, cut it, took it back to HD and they threaded it for me. Bought quick disconnects from Amazon

Was this on a DX3? If so, where and how did you mount the quick connect fitting?

I have a 2018 DX3. The factory installed lp quick connect is located on the passenger side below the last storage bay front edge . Connect also has a shut off valve above it.
