Dynamax Force 37TS

My husband and I bought a 2017 Forrester 3011 less than a year ago and we have enjoyed it (no complaints!) but we are really wanting to upgrade to the Dynamax Force 37ts so that we can pull his Ford F-150 behind us on some mountain trips. My problem is this....we can’t find any to go look at! I’m not comfortable plunking down the money without even going through that particular model in person first. We live in southwest Louisiana. We are willing to travel within 10 hours or so to see one. Anyone know of good Dynamax dealers in the South anywhere? Also anyone care to speak regarding why there is so few of them? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Well they cant make them fast enough and the Dynamax factory takes their time building the units, high quality. So they dont turn them out like some of the other manufacturers. I would check with lazy days in Florida or Motorhome Specialist or Longhorn (both in Texas). Maybe they have units on order?

Rvtrader have multiple models listed, not sure how many in the South.

Yes I have inquired from a dealer in Texas but they can’t say how long till they come in. We did go look at the Jayco Seneca’s today (several Jayco dealers around us ) bc they have a similar 37ts model. We were not impressed with the quality so it reinforced to us that this is something we need to see in person!

There is a dealer here in Lawrenceville, GA just East of Atlanta. It's called National Indoor RV. Very nice to deal with. As mentioned most dealers are out of stock for these units. Later RJD

I show (9) in the country right now.
ABC in Anchorage
B Young in Portland, OR
Dennis Dillon in Westminster, CA
Lazy days in Seffner
MHS in Alvarado
Performance RV in Ohio
Terrytown in Grand Rapids, MI

Of course...this is just what I show on the ground. They may be sold and we just don't have the retail registration. If you open up to ANY Force (just to see quality) then that adds a few sites...including Longhorn RV in Mineola which I think is a little closer.

Berryland has a few on order, but I don't have ETA dates yet.

Dynamax Force 37TS

Wow that’s exciting to see that Berryland has some on order bc that’s where we bought the Forrester from. I will call our salesman. They have one on order for MHS in Alvarado that is what we’re looking for (37ts with the theater seats and 50” tv/fireplace combo) but the salesman there couldn’t give me a time frame for when that would be there. Thanks for the help. 🤞 there is one in my future shortly. Husband just really wants to see the quality and layout of the coach first hand before money changes hands. I think the options we are interested in with the floor plan is what is limiting us the most as far as seeing one on the ground. But hubs wants what he wants! Lol[emoji6]

Its not your choice of options that is limiting the inventory. As Halla said, there are just very few DX3's in stock in any floor plan because most of them are sold before they hit the dealers lot.

We ordered ours Sept 2nd 2017, site unseen, and it is supposed to leave Elkhart in the next 2 weeks. We flew from Denver back to Elkhart 2 weeks ago to see our actual rig for the first time. You may want to consider doing the same. You can find super cheap airfare to Chicago (SW had $75 fares but we used frequent flyer miles) and its an easy 2.5 hour drive from O'Hare airport to Elkhart. If you go you can see the factory production lines, meet Brian and the customer service staff, and if you go soon I can guarantee you will see my rig with exactly all the options you want . It also lets you see the amazing paint & finish that Dynamax puts on these rigs.

We did extensive research and comparison to the Seneca too. The Seneca uses the S2RV chassis so though it looks similar to the DX3 M2 106 chassis, the gross carrying weight and towing capacity is less. Plus it uses the 6.7 Cummins with an exhaust brake and a lower rated Allison transmission versus the 8.9L in the DX3 with a full Jake brake and the Allison 3200 TRV transmission. You have a slight HP advantage with the 8.9 but a significant improvement in foot lbs of torque which is what really matters when towing. The heavier drive train and 4 wheel ABS and 2 stage Jake brake on the DX3 means it will tow stronger and stop better than the Seneca when towing heavier loads. If you plan on putting lots of miles on the rig, the 8.9 can be rebuilt totally whereas the 6.7 is sort of a throw away after it reaches end of life (probably well over 200K miles). The 37TS layouts on the interior are similar but the quality of the cabinets is better on the DX3 and overall fit & finish (doors, flooring, bathroom fixtures) on the DX3 seem to be a cut above. The Seneca is a fair amount cheaper but again you have to compare the differences in drive train and if you option the Seneca up to match what comes standard on the DX3 (satellite system, brake controller, Sirius radio, GPS, etc) the price gap is much smaller. Download the specifications page for the DX3 on the Dynamaxcorp.com website that lists everything that is standard and the various options, do the same for the Seneca and do a side-by-side comparison so you can do an accurate apples-to-apples comparison.

Everything Randy said was spot on and correct. I have done this research looked and studied till my head spins. Only thing I would add is the Dynamax DX3 is not really a fair comparison to the Seneca nor is it the same price point.

The Seneca is more like the Force for price point. They are both around 180-190k give or take a little. The Seneca has 360 HP where the Force has 340 HP. The 2 motorhomes have similar floor plans but the Dynamax has solid wood cabinets where the Seneca does not. There are other differences but you get the point. The Force also comes in the HD version for about maybe 10k more where the engine upgrade is significant.

Dynamax then offers the DXS 3 which is totally awesome. Beautiful coach. Its about another 20-25k upgrade again but this thing is nice. LOL

I have done my research and we all have different price points we can hit. Comparing coach to coach, Seneca to Dynamax, the nod has to go to Dynamax for me. I have more confidence in them personally. Now if I could only get one in my area to buy but thats another entire conversation.

I too, am upgrading from a Forester (3171DS). I agree with the posts above. However, I do think the S2RV chassis has some advantages against the M2 106 that has the smaller chassis/drivetrain. That being said, ride comfort was a primary factor and I found that the larger M2 chassis to be much, much more comfortable with the air ride seats. They both are a dream to drive compared to the E450. Ultimately, I canceled my 2018.5 Seneca order and ordered a DX3. I would highly recommend that you get the bigger chassis on the Force HD or DX3.

One of the local dealers got a used 17 36fk HD in on trade and we are going to look at it tomorrow not really to buy but so the wife can look at the floor plan. They also do have a new DX3 on the lot that I am gonna try to keep her away from. I know she will love it but dang their expensive.. LOL I call myself economically conservative and she says Im just tight and cheap.. LOL

Thanks for the good info. We are definitely thinking about the Force HD now since the main reason to upgrade is mountain trips pulling the hubs F150. I love this site for all the good info and discussions.

I've been married for over 50 years. YOU are going to loose! Might as well save future grief and just get the DX3.
