Dynamax Force HD Speaker Upgrade

I ordered the custom door panels from Sport Chassis. They are nice panels, well built. The speakers that come with them are ok, 3 way speakers. I replaced them with an upgraded component system, added a 300watt amplifier for the components and added a Kenwood Subwoofer (found my Shult01, thank you!). After I took off the stock door panels, I added the Dynamat door kit, which really helped. I used Boom mat speaker cups behind the woofers. While I was under the dash I added a 12v fuse panel, ran a 8 gauge wire from the battery compartment, used a on/off switch at the source for the new wire and put in a 100amp fuse before the wire leaves the battery compartment. Now I have plenty of extra power instead of tapping into the truck wiring, which makes me nervous. I am considering doing something with the stock door pulls inside, we will see. I added before and after pics and the dynamat as well.

All in all, very happy with the new speakers, sounds great inside, the doors are much more solid. Great project.

$780 plus shipping. Came with Kenwood speakers. I used Kenwood Excelon components, mini amp and some other goodies. Was a fun project. The good news is I have three more months of winter to come up with some other projects.

Nice job Aaron, I too just finished installing the new door panels with the speakers from Sportchassis, that’s at least 2 sets they sold in northeast Ohio. Very happy with the results, sound fills the cockpit now. In the process of doing the ceramic coating on the coach, quite a job, a little over halfway done with a few months to go.

The cab sounds awesome now, rich sound with the Dynamat and boom mats. Really happy. It was hard finding place for the amp etc....

Graphic.... Ohio Leads the way, lol.

Ceramic coatings are man-made and were developed from nanotechnologies used for space shuttles due to their heat insulation and anti-corrosion properties. In terms of durability, they far outrank any other protection for a vehicle and depending on the ceramic coating of choice, can last between 1-6 years. This is something that no wax is capable of. Additionally, they aren’t restricted to paint surfaces and can be used to protect almost any surface of your vehicle. It’s supposed to harden the paint to prevent harm done by the environment and use

This has been discussed here on another thread, didn’t mean to hijack this one

These door panels look like the way to go!
Where did you put the sub woofer?

I mounted it behind the passenger seat on the carpet, it looks pretty good there, and it is a compact Kenwood. It was easy to run the cabling right into the plastic covers up along the footwell under the dash. Kenwood KSC-SW11, comes with 16’ of cabling and a wired remote.

With our BH model there was really no where to mount the sub, under the seats there is no room and I have a center console.

The guys that make that door panel approached me in Tampa.

I think if I can....I'll add that into part of our Audio upgrade package. So sub, dash speakers, 4 channel amp, door panels and speakers.

They are called Salient Designs. They are a division of Sport Chassis...but make them non-branded.

I am sure you could squeeze it in behind there, but the console will be too far back, limiting access to the fronts seats. The compact sub I used is barely noticeable behind the passenger seat, or you could hide it depending on your model.

Really nice job Aaron! I’ve got this upgrade under consideration. :-)

I mounted the sub woofer in the entry door cabinet on our TS. I have accessory fuse panels there, under the dash like Aaron and in the electrical bay. It was a rather quick install since I already had power. Just had to run the speaker wires.

Finished my door project today. Had the upper grab handles wrapped in black leather to match the seats, added orange stitching to match the orange stripe in the paint. I think this finished the new panels up nicely.
