Dynamax Isata 4 entry step is way too low

Wow. I can't believe the problems I'm having with the entry step to my 2018 Isata 4. I have only been highway and regular street driving with my Dynamax but am shocked how often that dang entry step scraps on the ground.

I was hoping to do some BLM land camping out west in the future too but am so worried this rig can't handle getting into some of those more primitive camping areas.

It appears this is a common deign flaw with the Isata 4 as I am reading others sharing similar concerns with how low the step is to the ground.

Does anyone know if Dynamax has any kind of solution to this design flaw with the low low clearance to the entry step?

Have you considered just removing the step? When I bought my Isata 3 in 2017, the dealer had just received the first Isata 4 manufactured. I notice the step was really low. When extended it was just a few inches off the ground. I didn’t need it at all to step into the RV.

We have the 31 DS and I had the same issue. I installed Sumo springs front and rear and gained over an inch clearance for the step. I have been several miles since then and have not had a dragging problem. The additional springs raised the the step clearance a good inch. If you are interested in what I installed just PM me and I will send links. Good luck!

I had my step removed before I took delivery. Never had a problem. Ground to first step is no bigger than 1st to 2nd step.
