Dynamax pricing

What I'm looking for is the invoice pricing for the Force so I can figure what and which options I may want AND what the MSRP should be. Some dealers will post the "window sticker" on their ads, some different manufacturers will have a "build and price" feature on their site showing base and options. Can't find such for the Dynamax models. The model I'm interested in is the Force 34KD and online they show popular options. Since very likely one would have to be ordered, I would like to have the information before I sit down with a dealer to discuss it.

Easier to get the nuclear launch codes.

Motorhome Specialist in TX does post a "window sticker" for in stock models. I have written a couple dealers asking for the build sheet so I can see what's actually in it and that "should" have the pricing too if they send it. But shame some of these manufacturers want to hide this.

We actually posted retail cheat sheets a while back (on this forum). All the options, their MSRP pricing and pictures of the options. We have not updated this for 2022, but I am sure we will.

The only caveat is that pricing has been changing every time I wake up in the morning. My raw material costs have gone up over $6500 in the past 30 days.

Some dealers are starting to just quote "% off of MSRP" so that wherever the MSRP ends up when the unit arrives you will get the same % off. It's been crazy.

Brian, the OP was asking about the "INVOICE" price, not retail. Retail is generally available and supplied to consumers as you stated.

While the published invoice prices advertised or presented by automobile dealers does not reflect chargebacks or dealer incentives, the auto industry does attempt to provide this to the consumer. Additionally, these "Invoice" prices are available through many online sources, (NADA, KBB, etc.)

RVs are different than automobiles in volume, manufacturing, consumer customization, quality, and use, however, there are some good practices the RV industry could adopt to their market.

You are correct but I mis-spoke or mis-wrote. I was referring to retail pricing as I know actual invoice isn't something I've seen or heard of being shared. When I look online at ads around the country I see a wild variety of pricing based partly on options which ads frequently don't disclose. Lazydays the worst in my opinion. I saw the window sticker on a Force 34KD at MHSRV at the bottom was a $3985 "market adjustment" or similar wording. Wonder if that's just profit markup before they discount? I did a search on this site and it didn't turn up any past threads.

EDIT adding, I don't live near any dealers and was wanting pricing information so when I spec one I have an idea where the starting price is. I have requested build sheets and some don't acknowledge my request.

Here's the thread referenced earlier relating to 2021 pricing:

I know this isn't 'invoice' pricing (good luck with that one), just tryin to help.

I find it odd that the prevailing knowledge is that 20-30% off MSRP is the "norm" in shopping for new RVs. (Pre-COVID demand increase)

What this says to me is that the MSRP is "inflated" by 20-30%. Businesses must make a profit on sale or they will soon be out of business. If the dealer makes a 10% gross profit on the sale, that means that the MSRP is "inflated" by 30-40% from the price the dealer pays.

Or to put that in perspective:
$50000 MSRP, extrapolates to $30-35000 dealer Invoice
$100000 MSRP extrapolates to $60-70000 dealer invoice
$300000 MSRP extrapolates to $180-210000 dealer invoice

I only buy one owner used for this and first year QC reasons. While I don't begrudge RV dealers making a profit, as I'm no Musk or Bezos and that dealer's profit means years of our living expenses. (Yes, I'm a frugal bastich)

Until supply and buying craze settles down, buying a newer used could cost more than a new. That newer RV might be on the market because of "newby disillusionment" or a lemon that's dumped. Buying better doesn't guarantee no problems but buying lesser assures you are likely to have more.

I ordered mine several months ago. Just seemed like MHSRV gives you a 20% discount from MSRP. Hopefully that price will be honored with it comes to the dealer in March or April. Fingers crossed.

I stopped by there in April and as I recall their pricing was open ended and final price was what they said it was at delivery. That was before the really crazy pricing the second half of this year and large MSRP increases. The deposit was also non-refundable and that and their attitude that I should be grateful to be let in the door, we didn't spend much time there.

Doh! You mean I was supposed to actually visit the dealer when I ordered my XL? Shoot, I just ordered it via email and a phone call or two. Once on order I contacted the Dynamax National Sales Rep who already had my order in hand within a couple hours, even before my wire transfer of the deposit was complete.

Back in January, we took over an already in-place dealer stock order. Dealer ordered it in September 2020, it is a 2021 model (barely) and we just got it on Wednesday this week. Good things take time sometimes. Glad we survived, cause I normally have zero patience.

.
That market surcharge was a factory surcharge due to rapidly rising costs.

It was only on the 34KD which I'm told is the hottest plan now. Looks like a model premium charge. In my internet searching, the 34 is harder to find and "plenty" of the longer models. Plenty being a relative term. Pretty much the same in the shorter Renegade Valencia and Verona as far as availability.

It as not just on the 34KD, it was on all products across the board. it just depends on when one shipped in. It was only during a certain period of time before we could get prices adjusted on the price sheet.
