So the 2nd annual unofficial gathering. A.U.G? Or just U.G.
Although I guess it can be an official gathering, it was just an unofficial rally.

Whatever we want to call it or have it, there are others on the Dynamax fb page interested! A few of us are encouraging them to join us here on the forum.

Can you host it at your place?

It really should be listed as a gathering for those who are open and would like to go to that location, not really a rally.

I can fit about 4 in the cup de sac. If someone wants to bring a tractor, I can clear some more trees.

Halla,
Many thanks for organizing the Dynamax Rally. I am sorry I was not able to attend, but it was a little too far from where I am located in the Pacific Northwest.
A couple of observations for your consideration for future rallies:
Consider casinos for rallies. I have attended two Family Motor Coach Association Northwest Area rallies of 400, more or less, motorhomes at a casino. A casino appeared to offer certain advantages, including an RV Resort, a large graded lot for free RV parking, 24-hour per day shuttle buses, security, meeting rooms, catered meals, gaming rooms open 24/7, restaurants open 24/7, and so forth. The casino appreciated the RV business and was very easy to work with.
Consider a “gathering” on BLM Sonora Desert at Quartzite, AZ during the winter. “Quartzite is 18 miles east of the Colorado River and the California boarder on I-10. Quartzite is likely the RV boon docking capital of the world. During the winter, it has become a mecca to visitors and exhibitors for rocks, gems, mineral specimens, fossils, and RV supplies.
The one I attended was an informal gathering of Lazy Daze Class C motorhome owners. It was held on a section of the Sonoran Desert which was controlled by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The rally master specified a latitude and longitude where to gather and “circle wagons.” We would gather around a fire for breakfast and dinner. There were no difficulties driving around the Desert in a Class C motorhome on a Ford E450 chassis. The ground was flat, hard, and clear of debris. Vegetation was sparse. Once past the RVs near the flea market, RVs were also sparse.
For this type of “dispersed recreational camping,” the BLM provided drinking water and a sewerage dump for a modest fee.
During January and February, “2,000 vendors of rocks, gems, minerals, fossils and everything else imaginable create one of the world's largest open air flea markets in Quartzsite. Eight major gem and mineral shows as well as vendors of raw and handcrafted merchandise peddle their wares to snowbirds, collectors and enthusiasts, making Quartzsite the place to be the first two months of each year.”

I realized you meant plant after I typed Cul-De-Sac (before it was corrected to cup de sac).
We only have about 6 spots.

We could just call it a LCR (land clearing rally) [emoji481][emoji23]

A lot of us on the West coast would like to attend the next rally but Tenn is a long way for most to drive. Although from the photos it looks like a great location. Central might work for all of us, but I'm not on the site selection committee so I'm not sure what all has been looked at for a venue.

While Ocean Lakes could easily accommodate our group size wise, they are booked up for years. Also, though it would be in my backyard, it is as far East as you can go.... might make it harder for those further away to attend.

Anchor Down is sold out for most of June and July next year already. Could find another spot. Maybe
