Halla,
Another suggestion, and the current suggestion like my two earlier suggestions, is generic. I would expect you can find similar situations in other parts of the U.S.
Consider an RV park associated with a nearby RV dealer. That make sales and service possible in addition to the availability of an RV park. It also makes available classes on maintenance and use of a Dynamax, in addition to whatever touring is available in the area.
For example, Lazydays in Tucson, Arizona is a Dynamax dealer. It has 49 service bays and a very nice sales and parts showrooms. I was there last year. There service was so good, I might go back this year. Lazydays also has a highly rated KOA RV park within walking distance.
There might be some good Dynamax/Lazydays marketing opportunities to make such a rally a win-win-win for Dynamax, Lazydays, and Dynamax current and would-be owners. Dynamax might be able to help with arrangements.
See, for example,
https://koa.com/campgrounds/tucson-lazydays/
https://www.lazydays.com/locations/a...tucson-arizona
I am sure you can find similar dealer-campground arrangements around the U.S., as I am going to a rally at a dealer/RV park in Oregon next month. The rally master reserved 50 sites.

There is a good sized casino in Cherokee NC. I was happy to attend this year, and will likely go down in history as the "shortest drive" to a Rally! One of the big things that draws businesses to this area of the country is that 2/3rds of the population of the US is within an 8 hour drive. A lot of trucking companies locate in Knoxville TN for that very reason. I am also one of the "still workin" folks, so I am hoping it ends up within a 5 hour drive. No hard feelings if it doesn't though.

They would then be in Mountieman Country. Sorry bald guy I bet they just culled that area. LOL
Teach them how to drink shine from a clear quart jar with no label on it.

We went to a Roadtrek rally at Chewing Black Bones campground last year, on the Blackfeet Indian reservation outside Glacier NP. Great place for a group.
We're headed for Alaska next year so it would be on our way.

instead of the population, we need a population map of Dynamax's nationwide, that would be interesting to see.

May not be the most idyllic setting, but I vote for doing it at a nice RV park in/near Elkhart. Almost all of the RV accessory companies are nearby and would probably be willing to participate (think free stuff and more prizes). Folks that need stuff they want Dynamax to fix can schedule a day (not camp there all week) there before/during/after the rally. Lots of folks can get stuff fixed and it would be a chance for all of the Dynamax employees to stop by in the evening for a BBQ to get to see/meet their customers. Folks could do factory tours during the day at Dynamax or maybe even some of the other big accessory suppliers.
About as close to the middle of the country as you can get. If its dual purpose i.e. get something fixed at the factory AND attend the rally, may help some folks justify driving a little farther. Theres got to be some other stuff in the area to see, isn't there an RV museum nearby?
AND, there would be no way Brian could avoid handing out t-shirts and hats

Has anyone considered the Elkhart county fairgrounds? Although not a resort, it is in close proximity to all things RV, including the Dynamax factory. With over 275 sites, there should not be a problem accommodating an rv rally. We spent a few days there recently and found many things to see and do in the area. Plenty of good restaurants as well. Being a centralized location, most folks could drive there in two or three days or less.

Aaron and I talked about this...but we already hold the FROG rally there. Timing wise, it would put "the gathering" within 30 days of the official FROG Rally which would likely mean it would be tough to get supplier support. I would be fine with it, knowing that. I can always have Greg, Marty and Doug there to help out.
The other option is for Dynamax to crash the official FROG rally. All the suppliers are in on that one. tours are already set up, they have shuttle busses, meals, dining hall, etc.
I will say, I sort of prefer the more intimate setting for just the Dynamax people. I'm not a big fan of crowds.

Brilliant idea! Love it, this is why you get the big bucks. Great locale for all those good reasons.

Actually that was Aaron's idea on the locale, I actually poo-pooed the idea due to suppliers being burnt out after or leading up to the FROG rally.
the official FROG rally would be my choice, only because someone else plans everything. I really liked that about Anchor Down Then maybe we can still do something specific here at the plant.

Unless things have changed having a area of Only "Dynamax Units" at the FROG Rally might NOT happen! Berkshire Owners tried and had to "Mix and Match" with others! Some MFG Groups/Clubs have areas! This is "FROG BOBS" call! Before you "Crash the FROG Rally"! Youroo!!

Dynamax Rally 2019
I think we should stay with with the name “Dynamax Owners Rally”. It was fun and very useful meeting others with similar issues and solutions to problems and upgrades to their motorhome.
We attended an FMCA rally last March, 2600 Motorhomes. For me it was too commercialized. Plus 4 days in grass with no sewer & water hookups took fun out of as well. I get the impression that the FROG rally would be the same. I agree with Brian, keep the more ‘intimate setting’.
Since we have no job or school age children we are less picky about location and timing, although we may have other trips scheduled.

Fine, then I’m going to start the unofficial official Dynamax DX3 owner’s rally only.. better known as DDORO 🤣
