Electric Slides

Is there a video available on how to troubleshoot and maintain the electric slides on the DX3 and Dynamax? The mechanical slide I see the motor. The electric slides I don’t

It's still the same switch/controller logic. Just different motors. So the existing slide out video would still apply. Other than the motor part, which we don't show.

The electric slides are run by the Precision system. There is no toggle switch to show a fault like the big mechanical slide. My main question is where are the motors on the electrical slide in case they have to be brought in manually? They are not visible like the mechanical slide

Actually that's not exactly accurate. They are ALL electric slides (at least on the Dynamax stuff). All the Precision Plex is doing, is activating the switch that is already there.

I think we're off on some terminology...but as I read this back, I think I decipher what you are asking.

There are really only TWO types of slides (in general). Electric and Hydraulic. Then there are various types of electric slides.

On your DX3 there is an electric FRONT slide, which is a below floor slide with a single large motor that turns a gear system and is by Power Gear. That has the electronic switch that I think you are referring to...(Precision plex, just tells that switch to activate...but the switch is still there)

Then the REAR slide is an electric CABLE slide by Norco. That does not have the same switch from Power Gear (which is actually Lippert now).

So what are you looking for is a troubleshooting guide from Norco on their cable slide. So, no, we don't have a video for that...it is normally a more straight forward slide room. The manual should be on your flash drive, on the on-line owners manual or can be downloaded here.

They also give some operation videos.
