Entry door gas strut breakage part info

For anyone thats broke the end of the gas strut when the entry door was opened in the wind....


I can confirm this end fits, no need to buy the entire strut:

Nice...very helpful.

Just in time for us to eliminate the strut on the 2021's. (well trucks anyway. The door is too heavy for the Isata 3)

Thanks John, just ordered a set.
Ours broke during our winter travels.
Added some para cord in the mean time to top of door but will leave in place after to help prevent occurring again.

That would require a complete redesign of every single floor plan. While not off the table, certainly pretty far off.

You can get 2 new gas supports for $13.00, sounds like a no brainer

Ordered one is those too . But the ends I mentioned are metal, so they should hold up better.
