Europa 31ss valve under kitchen sink

Hi,new member here.I just bought a 2024 31ss used with 5k miles.I’m trying to sort out the plumbing.Under the kitchen sink in the floor of the cabinet at the right rear is a square hole cutout with a shut off valve in a red flex line. The line is very kinked and the valve is in the off position..I have to pull the line up out of the hole to even access the valve. What is this valve.?

Can’t be certain without a photo, but it sounds like a valve to bypass the water heater when winterizing the coach. Dynamax has a YouTube channel that covers many of the systems on the coach, including the water heater bypass. Also, there was a technical service update that modified the water heater bypass on the Europa, which I believe was posted here.

Pictures of valve

Here’s a couple of pics of the valve. The one with the screwdriver is because it is hard to pull it up to access the valve.

Mystery solved.

I removed the leveling jacks panel, which allowed me to see under the sink cabinet base. The hose is tied into the aqua go comfort plus line and is a drain for that. The interesting thing is that Dynamax just left it under the cabinet ( about 3 ft. of it) open to drain all over that area if the valve were opened.A brilliant engineering move.Sure glad I didn’t open the valve to see what it did!!

Well that doesn’t seem right. The water heater TSB instructions explicitly state the drain line is to be routed outside of the coach. I have to wonder if the prior owner had the TSB modification performed, and the instructions were not fully followed. Maybe a Dynamax representative will pop in here and clarify the mattter.

Well that makes sense.Still have contact with previous owner,so maybe he will shed some light on this.Local dealer here sucks so unless Dynamax did the mod before it was sold, then likely the local dealer DDRV did it. I guess I’ll route the hose myself so it’s done right.

Given the line is red, seems like it should be hot water, I've not noticed that one in mine but haven't reached into that hole.

The bypass is behind the panel to the right of the cabinet the one that's in it's three valves that you turn to allow it to be bypassed. That looks likes Hot water drain, but I just do that by pulling the piece out of the heater itself.

I decided to permanently mount the hotwater heater remote next to the other panels next to the stairs so that I could switch between Eco and Comfort without going outside. Brian is correct that remote is confusing (it only works when the outside switch is int he up position not the down position) but once we figured that out it's so nice to not have to go back outside after cleaning up in the evening. Also since the heater is so fast now we just turn it off when we know we won't need it for a while.

I did not have the Truma remote control in my coach.I contacted Sara Benner at Dynamax and she sent on right out,No charge.Great customer service I must say.I’m now waiting on the second remote for the Maxxfan. They come with the fans ,so don’t know why there was only one.It will be nice to have one in the bathroom.
