Best to always let the engine idle for a minute or so before shutting it down. On the same note do not idle to much with these modern emissions. Few minutes here and there should be fine though.

I am sure this couch gets used in many applications and is probably set-up as a default to fit with a slide that is floor level or another application. Anyway, I was able to extend my legs enough to level the couch but with them extended they would not fold back up.
So I took the bottom section off and redrilled the holes in the frame to move the legs out. I extended the legs to the last hole, then mocked everything up on frame and marked for new holes. I added a little extra for floor guards I put on. Pretty easy deal and did not take long. The floor guards were made using Silicone heater hose (11/16) split down the middle. They stay in place nicely and keep the legs from damaging the floor. We also have a rug under it. The rug would probably work on its own but I did not want to take a chance as this bed gets used a lot. A small length of velcro secures the legs together when stored. All said and done I still have another hole I can go down but with hose on it it sits level with the next to last holes used.
Bummer we still can't get the correct legs from Lippert Bradley at Dynamax has been trying but according to them they don't exist, despite photo evidence to the contrary. The latest attempt had them send me a new couch bottom cushion with the legs on it. The legs measure exactly the same as the ones I have so I seriously doubt that will fix the issue we have given the measurements show above. Not sure now what to do I guess we're going to have to find a way to make some or block them up when we need them. Really disappointed in the supplier on this one.

Above Cab Storage (removable)

Better half found a storage container (double front doors that "latch") that worked for our needs (times 3). Side benefit, totes collapse for easy storage / shipping.

I fashioned a back base plate from 8" light weight aspen (so top of totes don't bang/rub bulkhead wall/ceiling), trimmed it to a snug fit to leading / side edges of bunk base and made 3 notches for the totes (to prevent side to side movement). Used foam tape at "contact" points to make snug fits and eliminate rubbing / squeaks from mating surfaces. Then wood screwed / washer thru totes to base rail. (not counting spray paint wood to match ~ 1 hr to do).

Field tested, they stay put, but can be easily removed in minutes to reinstall be mattress if bunk is needed for a trip instead.

Totes from Amazon, lined clear doors with "stained glass vinyl".

I did something a little similar I took 12mm Baltic Burch and cut it to fit up there with a cutout. It’s two pieces to make it more easily removable than I put a lip around it to stop anything sliding off

We use poly tubs for our mountain bike or track gear so stash it up there. We’re currently painting it to match so it’s not installed photos will follow

If anyone got a couch with their Europa where the legs are too short at full extension (the bottom U part of the legs measures around 9" then you need the longer leg which measure 13" for the bottom U shaped bit the part number from Lippert is:

2020219325 TRIFOLD LEG 1.000 x 1.000 x 0.048 x 13.5 x 13.5 x 19.000

I want to thank Bradley at Dynamax for helping through this discovery it took a lot of work and I now have I believe two sets of the shorter legs, one complete one just the U, one completely new couch bottom with the shorter legs attached, and one random cushion that we're not sure what it belongs too, but finally today I got two of the part number above and can report my couch will work as a bed!

Yes, this has been quite the debacle. LCI sent the wrong part about 6 times. We even showed them the correct part and they could still not quite get it right. We finally had to rob parts off of a sofa, take them over as an example and we sent ours out

Photos of the dashboard with covers removed

Just finished up my stereo upgrades and figured I'd upload some photos of the dashboard with the covers removed in case others find them helpful.

I ended up installing a set of Focal 5.25" speakers with separate tweeters that I mounted on the A pillars at roughly ear level. I put in a Kicker Key 200.4 amplifier to run those and the ceiling speakers, and then added a small subwoofer under the panel

Well done. Stereo and speakers are pretty much what you expect from a delivery truck cab. I will be upgrading mine soon.

Thanks for sharing.

This is the subwoofer I bought and wired in: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CY3PXMV...roduct_details I'll get some more photos of that install it fits nicely under the dash between the seats, I'm hoping the Fab5 console for the JBL might still work with this one.

Haven't driven the rig yet but it definitely sounds way way better sitting there. I had to get the Key 200.4 off of an e-bay seller as they seem to be out of stock everywhere but it has a microphone and will map the install to digitally make it sound better according to the promo material. It definitely sounds better when you flip on the map vs just straight amp. Seems to have a ton of power too. I may consider putting a set of coaxial focals in the ceiling to better match the cab, but you can't really hear that channel all that much from the cab so I'll wait and see how it is going down the road.

Above cab bunk storage

Since we will likely never use the over cab bunk but do carry various bins for the activities we do in our RV (mountain biking or driving race cars etc) we decided to convert the space on the bunk with two panels that can be easily removed if we do need the bunk. We matched the cabinet paint and this is how it came out:

We also built some panels for the bottom of the storage compartments with 3/4" Plywood so they wouldn't sag with heavier things in there like the grill or a small floor jack and some tools, covered them with Home depot outdoor carpet and they look factory:

Anybody install snap pads on your Europa? I think they are the SN76FR model (10” octagon), I’m looking to order a set today but I’m unsure enough that I thought I’d ask…

Yes we put snap pads on our Europa and on our previous coach, I think it's worth it as it really helps increase the size of the pad for softer surfaces.

I’m a believer in the snap pads as well, put them on our Isata 5. Was the model number on your Europa the SN76FR?

When I was looking at the pictures of the dashboard opened up it reminded me... Does anyone else get a resonating/vibration out of the dashboard on the passenger side? We get a decently loud hum from it between 55 to 62mph. That speed gives it just the right frequency. Non existent outside that speed range. On our last trip we shoved a hand towel into the gap on the bottom and it somewhat helped, but didn't eliminate it.

Anyone have same experience or have a solution on how to eliminate it?

@huskerhiker can't say I recall any such vibration / noise, or had "the passenger" mention it, but will pay attention on our next trip to see if it is a "thing". Thinking it could be tire balance related. If wind related I think it would start and get worse at higher speeds, not disappear. And if engine/trans balance related, it would show up at multiple speed ranges.

Chasin rattles and squeaks is a lifelong pursuit, the weed killing of RVing.

This isn't a subtle sound. Its very noticeable by me, the driver, as well.
Tire balance related is a great thought though as to the main cause. I will have that checked out. Thank you
