Exterior Caulking ?

If I wanted to go over all the seams and around the windows and doors just for the sake of doing it, which caulk would you use? It is always customary in my world that once something is caulked, it can settle once dried and a second or third coat can be very helpful for a good seal.

Ideas or opinions please.

Geocell 28000v Clear Proflex RV sealant. Don’t ever use silicone ( I made that mistake once).

Yeah luckily I read that about the silicone so thats why the thread. Do you use clear on everything or colored caulk in the painted areas?

Nothing will stick to silicon (not even more silicon) it’s got to be cleaned completely off when you redo it. While this is ok in a bathroom it can be a real pain on these pretty paint jobs

Hmmm...that might explain the mess I made when I resealed my keypad after taking it apart to troubleshoot it.

Depending on how bad the existing caulk is, you may want to remove some of it. That is NOT fun...

I know where the Dicor goes, but where do the other sealants go. And be careful how you answer..I know where you work

That should be a multi-page pdf. On the next several pages we number where the sealants go based on their numbered list.

On edit, you do pretty good work! Thanks, again..

Now we know why these things cost so much. Kind of like the old gold plated toilet seat the military used to buy!

I think a few tubes need to make it to the rally next year as raffle prizes

Dynamax, we have a problem!!!!

I can't open Brian's attachment. I see that that 72 other had no trouble opening it so it has to be me or my computer. Any help would be appreciated as I'm really interested in this topic.
