Force, DX3 or XL bedroom ceiling lights

Small question. Can anyone tell me if the ceiling lights, that are controlled by the push button multiplex system, are plug-in connectors? Specifically the two reading lights above the bedroom headboard. And are they daisy chained or separate leads. And how do you get to the wiring? It looks like maybe have to pry up on the fabric covered bottom of the upper cabinet? Wish I had a wiring diagram.
thanks

What are you trying to do?

They are daisy chained to the main switch, but they ALSO have their own touch controlled switch because sometimes my wife wants to stay up reading and I want mine off to go to bed. They are also directional now, because when it was just a ceiling puck...that was still too bright for me. On a flexible stalk, you can direct the light to the book and away from my eyes.

Thanks. And any hints on how to get to the wiring? There are two small holes where the lights go, but too small to snag any wires.

The whole bottom of that panel is a chase as I recall. Changing a light? If I know what you are trying to do, I can ask our guys how they would tackle it.

It seems Covid has my lights because my new Force came with two holes where the lights go. I've got the part number, I think, F100225791, per Colleen Adams. I hope those are the nice ones you have described.

Should be, that is all we're running right now (assuming we finally got them in stock). For any shortage though, we have been trying to give dealers a heads up and give them the option to hold or ship short. I would hope that we did, but weird times.

Well, it's a pretty small item, and everything looks great. I can't wait to get on the road. A couple more days. I did, by coincidence, bump into the transport driver that brought it out from Elkhart. He had great reviews on the DD8 engine. He said, cruise control up any mountain passes along the way, and cruise control with engine brake on the other side. Never manual shifted. And he was running 75mph. Said he never had to touch a thing. He also commented on it having a very nice, stable ride. I can't wait.

Good to hear on the ride.

I normally only hear about the big shortages that have cause us the most pain, but it does look like the lights were short for a bit as we waited for containers to land. That was one I was not aware of as I don't think it lasted long.

We have determined that the wires did not make it into the soffit/chase above the headboard. Presumably they are at the switch by the bedside and just left hanging. Or there may be none. We will determine that this later morning. One way or another we will need to get from the switch to the soffit. A very short run, but knowing the routing would be helpful. Perhaps you could inquire as to the wire routing used to get from the bedside switch to the soffit/chase and lights. Otherwise it's try and error, which the error part I would like to avoid.
thanks

Not a short run actually as they run into the slide out. So the wires are likely there somewhere, or it would be better to tap into the lights from another source and just leave them individually switched.

Stick with Colleen on direction (I think that is who you are talking to in service, I'll have her reach out to production directly)
