Freightliner M2 vs Isata 5 handling

I am considering purchasing either an Isata 5 or an M2 based class C. I have driven the 30FW which seems to ride nice and handles very well. I have not driven an M2 Freightliner chassis based motor home, I am wondering how they compare for those that have driven both.

Thanks!

Think more box truck or school bus and less pickup truck for the freightliner and you won't be disappointed. Id say it's way better than most box trucks I've driven but it's the best analogy I can come up with

I had an Itasca Cambria on a E450. Nice rig and we enjoyed using it, but the ride was like a UHaul box truck and was a killer on my back (after 4 back surgeries). Handling was OK, but the Freightliner is a huge improvement. Air ride seats really help with back issues. For me, no comparison.

Ram 5500 is NOT an E450.

I have driven both, the Ram 5500 AND the M2. personally, I like the Ram ride, I think it is great. Lots of power, LOTS of legroom, I have no issues. However, when moving from Cab to Coach, I very much prefer the M2 as it is much easier. Ride..I could do 600 miles in a day (and have) and feel great in both when we arrive at the campsite. But every time you stop, the M2 pulls further ahead.

It is a very different price point however. If that is not in the equation, then M2....I also slightly like the "upright" seat in the M2...I feel like I am more alert.
