Fresh water fill isata 3
Hi all,
Just got my rig out of storage and for the life of me i can't get the fresh water tank to fill.
when i connect the hose and move the anderson valve to tank, water seems to just go right out the overflow vent.
any suggestions?
Thanks!

are you sure its not already full? Or maybe it is not the overflow but the tank drain still open?

Hi Brian,
Thanks for the quick reply.
the level monitor where the anderson valve and the one in the coach only have one red light on, so i am "assuming" it is not full. But you are right it is acting like it is.
any idea how i could verify?
Thanks!

First thing would be to verify the tube the water is coming out of. Is it the low point drain, overflow or tank drain. See the water and follow it up into the coach for the valve. picture would work too.

I’m betting on the low point drain is open and not the overflow.

Do we have any action on "tank drain". do we need an oddsmaker? I'll hold the money and just keep the juice

Thanks all
There are two blue hoses on the bottom of the rig. One has a valve and i believe it is the low point one. closer to the rear. The other one is closer to the the anderson valve. sticks straight down and has no valve on it.
the low point one has the valve closed.

I’m at a casino in Cripple Creek as we speak. I’ll check on the odds.

yes. tank drain is normally more towards the middle rear, should have a valve.

Does anyone know where the valve is to shut off the tank drain? It is definitely not the low fill point drain. Thanks!

I should at least split the winnings. I would like to go on record pointing out that "you sure its not already full" was my first response.

water tank
If there is a big black plastic shield hanging to the left of the anderson valve take it down and you should be able to see the water tank.

My tank drain is inch and a quarter or inch and a half. If he's got one of those small drains, THEN IM BETTING ON MAIN TANK DRAIN.

So that leaves the one by the Anderson valve THE OVERFLOW.

I give up. Where is the fresh water tank drain valve? I’ve never seen an RV that didn’t have one . Been under the rear for half an hour to no valve.
