Fresh water fill isata 3

I also have a 2017. The fresh water tank drain is in the rear directly in front of the hitch. The two low point drains are on the passenger side inside the door where the LP attachment is located.

You should also mention which floor plan you have. The tanks are in different locations. If you put your RV type and floor plan on your signature line it makes it a lot easier to answer your questions.

Good idea. I added 2017 Isata 3 RW to my profile. Since you have a RW ,where specifically is the fresh water drain valve ?

It’s in the wet bay toward the front behind a cardboard panel. On mine I can lift up on the bottom of that panel and make enough room to get my hand in to open the water tank drain. You can see it with a flashlight. There’s a couple of screws if you want to Remove it but I just bend it up a little.

Thank you, Bill. Who would thought you would have to remove things out of the compartment and remove screws to get to the drain valve that is buried amongst other hoses. I normally like to carry my water from home and drain it before coming home. Looks like I’ll have to redo the drain so it’s easier to use. I already installed a ball valve on the overflow line that is attached to the drain valve. The valve prevents losing about 1/3 the fresh water while going down the road from the side to side motion. The water just flows out the overflow.

Good idea, about the overflow valve. Where did you install it?

Just attached a small ball valve at the end of the overflow pipe
