You have no idea how much R&D I went into to design a trailer to carry both my Jeep and Rzr. Different angles, different heights, ramps. At the end of the day I would have needed a 28’ foot trailer. At that point, I could have just bought a 30’ trailer and been done. My wife asked me if I really wanted to drag around a 30’ trailer all the time for the 2-3 times we’d actually want both the Jeep and Rzr.

At the time I hadn’t thought about a golf cart.

Oh well, back to the drawing board

Mark
I'd opt for the Cricket as it weight is only 300 pounds. I bought there sport model and carry in the back of my pick up. Later RJD

Ah yeah I was envisioning a 2 seater 900xp or something

I have the same dilemma on the 30 footer for the 2 trips a year I’d take the buggy and Jeep on a trip. Too bad we don’t live closer. We could share

Just finishing getting everything setup on a 32' enclosed trailer so we can haul two full size rigs. It's taken a while, and I still don't have all the tie downs properly located to secure the rigs in spots that will make the tongue weight acceptable.

At the end of the day, how much more trouble is it, really, to drag around a 30' or 32' trailer vs. a 26' or 28'?

I have built 3 of these, one with a 49cc and two with 66cc (80cc) motors. the larger motors will handle hills and my weight with ease and go 30-35mph, close to 80 mpg. street legal in most places as well.

I’m using a 20’ right now and I think another 10’ is not something I’d want to deal with regularly. Sure there are places it wouldn’t matter but there are definitely others I have shoe horned into. That said you have a point on the 26ish range.

I have a 20' buggy hauler as well that I'd much prefer to use when hauling one rig, but then the hassle becomes moving all the parts, tools, gear, etc from one trailer to the other (or into the coach storage bins). I'm fully enclosing the section between the fenders on the enclosed trailer and making it able to be driven over/parked on. The section below will be used to store all the 'heavy' parts and tools...hopefully permanently. If I can ever get to that point, I'm afraid I'm never NOT going to want to take the big trailer.

My overall height with the Atwood AC units, not low profile, is 12’ 6” so 13’ clearance is my limit. I’ve gone under only 1 that had only 13’ clearance.

You’ll find out soon enough... lol. Not sure if you remember but I made a post where we went riding in VA and accidentally went up a 15 mile wrong road.

When we got to the end of the road, it dead ended into a cul de sac that was 39’ wide.

I had to basically jack knife my trailer, unhook it and it took me 2 1/2 hours to do a 229 point turn.

I mention that because I often think about what would’ve happened if I had a trailer longer than 24 foot. I would’ve definitely been screwed.

For years I traveled around the East coast in a 36’ diesel pusher towing a 32’ (36 with the 4’ tongue) car trailer
At times it was a hand full. That’ a 70’ rig that pivots in the middle. Now just the PUBand a 26’ TT. Happy as a clam.

Here is where we bought ours

I have no affiliation with them. They had great customer service when we ordered. Several models to choose from. Most of them fold up. Unfortunately I have to disassemble them a little to make them fit into the baggage compartments.

I have a 6 seater electric cart that’s street legal and licensed. We take it when we camp in an urban areas that allows street use. We can take it to the store and run around town in it. We often use it around our town to go to dinner and such. Click image for larger version

The 13' height wasn't an issue for me, just aesthetically when I see an RV driving down the road with a taller trailer. It's the OCD in me.

Slope it from the height of your rv to the height you need. Im sure your 4 wheeler is shorter than your jeep.
I’ll design it for you.

I had a 6 seater golf cart that we took with to a few camp grounds and was considering buying a Jeep just to tow behind the rig. In the end I sold the cart and will just rent a cart and car at the campsite, way easier.

A blast to ride on/off road...Crazy Lenny's has best prices in US...if you have a good roof in your trailer you can hang them from the ceiling and still take Jeep and RZR as well...thats what I did in my Toyhauler...

Oh trust me, I figured every possible position of both items. The problem is, the rzr is only a couple of feet shorter than the Rzr...lol.

The only thing that would make that better is a motorcycle sticking up out of the boat. Lol
