Hanging pictures

Can I screw picture hangers into the walls of my motorhome? My husband is concerned I will hit wires or something.

Husband is correct.

Many of us use Command Strips. If it's going into the bathroom or area of high humidity, use the Outdoor version

We have screwed many things to the walls of our Dynaquest. You can’t just go Willy Nilly, but if you’re careful, stay away from areas where wires are common and make sure the screws are not too long. We have also used Command Strips. However, our experience with them has not been great.

It not really the possibility of hitting wires, but the thickness of the wall material is not good. Walls are pretty thin and anything hung with a nail and has a fair amount of weight to it...you risk the chance of the nail pulling out of the wall. I mostly used Command Strips or if I was mounting something a little more permanent, I used thin wall anchors for more secure holding power.

Command has everything needed. Velcro to hooks. No holes in walls. Walmart is full of them.

Yes. But why?
Another vote for the command strips.
I was skeptical of them at first but at my door they catch my sweatshirts(one is heavy duty) and tote bags with odds and ends mostly hats and gloves.

In the bedroom I can hang my work pants and sweaters on them with no problems. Multiple items on one hook.
Nothing is light either.

Bought some of the hook and pile style for a project but ended up not going through with the project I had in store for them. So far I have not had a need for that style but if you do not want things bouncing during your travels that is probably the route to go.

Command strips are great when they're great. When they're not, we use nano tape.

Cleaning the surfaces with alcohol first is the key to getting almost any kind of mounting tape to work. With the humidity that tends to accumulate in any rig, it's best to use the outdoor version of any tape you use.

Another product we find useful is Museum Putty. https://www.amazon.com/Quakehold-881...s%2C109&sr=8-5

Just learned something. Invented replicating a gecko's toes. Amazing.
