Heat strips I5 30fw

I know that the two thermostats control front and rear AC’s respectively and only the front thermostat controls the propane furnace, my question is, is there only one AC unit that has heat strips?

I ask because we are here in Lubbock Tx headed home and it’s 32f, and I set both AC’s to elec heat and both blow air but only the front blows heat. Before I seek out service I thought I should ask here if anyone knows if that is actually as designed or if not is there anything I can check easily for possible simple fix.

This coach uses the airxcel thermostats.

They both have heat strips (or at least mine do). They are designed to work around 40F and up.

Makes sense both would have strips, since your unit and ours are about a month apart on build date they should be duplicates, thx!

Here is a link to a replacement heat strip. You can see it has a modular plug to connect to the AC. If you want to check it, you could remove the cover and make sure it’s plugged in and seated completely.
