Heated seats/steering wheel

Are they supposed to work on our 2021 Isata 5 28SS? We have the buttons on the dash but they don't do anything. Just wondering if we need to add this to the list of work when we take it in for our new TPMS tomorrow.

The seats, we recover and I think we add a foam pack...so it might not be immediately felt (or get all that warm). Or when we pulled the seat maybe we did not get something connected back together?

If you have the button (pic?) then it should work, I have actually never seen them as it was a running change to the chassis and did not even know we were getting them in that way yet.

Yea we have the buttons on the dash, we tried using them last week and they won't even light up. Seems odd to have the button but not have the option installed. Will be in the motorhome this afternoon and will take it to the shop tomorrow so maybe they can pull the vin and see if it was an option.

If you can take a pic that would help. I double checked and we have not started the heated seat/wheel option yet. Have quite a few chassis before we even get to that.

Well, not sure what to say. That chassis was not ordered with heated seats or wheel. I have never looked to see if they all get the buttons.

When I plug that into a VIN decoder, it also says it should not have it.

Well that sucks, was really looking forward to having them. Something to discuss with the dealer today about adding it.

Agreed. If you have back problems and/or have developed circulation problems due to aging then heated seats, especially when the back is also heated, and having a heated steering wheel are really nice to have. They definitely are useful in more seasons than just winter.

The problem seems to be all of the young'uns that motorhome builders have selecting options instead of us oldsters who are their customer base.

I had a similar cover installed in one car but now only buy ones that have both.
