Help with Fault Code

It tried searching online and can’t find anything. Maybe someone knows what this fault code is?

SA: 128 SYS
SPN: 2033
FMI: 19

I couldn't find anything either other than several references to 2033 being related to a 'communications loss'. Did come across this, though:

Thanks. I called Freightliner this morning. Has something do with the smart switches and the bulkhead module. Have an appointment next week for them to look at it.

You can try a reset.

1. turn off battery disconnect near driver's seat.
2. wait about 15 minutes
3. turn battery disconnect back to on
4. turn ignition key half turn DO NOT TRY TO START wait till all of the dash gauges go through their reset. Then turn ignition to OFF.
5 repeat step 4 4-5 times.

6. turn ignition half turn wait till gauges go through their reset then attempt to start. Hopefully it is cleared.

FYI always wait for the dash to go through a complete reset (gauges sweep from low to high to low readings before trying to start.

The codes you provided are a data error message.

Responded to a PM about my past issues with codes. I said I'd go check if I had any codes now. This is what I had. Cleared them and will check tomorrow if there are any new ones. Haven't a clue to their meaning. Call me Clueless In St George..my usual state, lately!

Ken is right on with the reset. It has worked for me.

Also you should invest in a Nexiq blue link. plugs into the port and reads

all of the faults and tells you what they are. App on your phone lets you

email a report to yourself of to freightliner. I purchased mine from

Diesel Laptops. It is great tool to read and tell you what the fault means.

You still can not clear them. You need the scan tool computer program to

clear them.
