How to fill FW tank in Isata 3

Today I want to Learn how to fill the water tank on my recently acquired 2017 Isata 3. We went camping, hooked up the water hose and used the water while we were on the site.

How do I fill the water tank for wilderness camping?

Anderson valve, switch to following.
PUMP setting, pumps water from storage tank RV.
CITTY setting, connected to faucet with hose at campground, Bypasses storage tank. Use pressure regulator.
TANK setting, to fill storage tank RV at home or campground.
Sanitize/Winterize setting is used to winterize RV.

I am not sure about your model and don’t want to give you incorrect information but…

You may have something called an Anderson Valve. If so you will have multiple settings. One will be labeled city or public which sounds like where it is currently set.

You want to turn the valve to the fill tank position. After tank has water turn the valve to Normal.

Someone will correct me if you do not have ann Anderson Valve.

On my RV the valve is near the outside shower controls and water hose connection

Thanks, this very helpful. I assume the water hose to fill the tank connects to the same fitting that is used to connect to city water.

Filling the Water Tank

Thanks again! We are seniors who are first time RVer's and I am so happy that I have joined the forum. I am not very "Hi-Tech" so do not fully understand the vocabulary of the younger folks when they explain.
On this forum I feel like I am in the right age group that will make life easier and more fun!

Another note, I don't have an Anderson valve but have read here and on other forums to be sure to relieve pressure on the system (turn off pump or city water and open faucet) BEFORE turning the lever on the valve. Seems many have broken theirs by not doing so.
