How to keep cool in your coach at night without using the AC!
Some may know this trick, others may not. I find this method to work VERY well when you don’t want to run the AC/generator all night long.
Close all the windows. Yes, close them all. Open just the bedroom window, for me it’s the one at the head of the bed closest to my head.
Turn on both vent fans, the kitchen one on 100%.
Lay down in bed and you will have a nice cool breeze from the window.
The fans suck out, this creates a vacume and sucks the air in the window as if there is a fan there!
If you have always wondered why most of the fans only suck air out, I think this is the reason. And it works amazing.
Out in the desert at night it works amazing.

You could also set one fan to blow in and the other to suck out.
Lets the interior breathe

When I was a newlywed with no A/C, wife would mist me with spray bottle of water as fan blew over me. Yes, I picked the right wife!

Open windows and fans method works great in areas where it gets below 75 at night. I really need to move where it does that more.........

Where you live, yes. Here in the humid south, it would have to be in the mid 60’s to be comfortable.

Fantastic fan
We turn our bathroom fantastic fan on low and leave a window in front cracked open.
Works well while being quiet too.

Many of us old codgers were raised with attic fans and window fans. We are quite familiar with the technique. It works well.

When I was growing up we did not have air conditioning or a fan, would pray for a thunderstorm to cool things down, so I could sleep. I spent a year in South East Asia, fighting the bugs, sweat and high temperature along with high humidity. Now that I am old & retired, I be dam if I am going to run fans to keep cool. Just my opinion, you fellows do as you please, I will stay cool with the windows closed.

I might consider opening a window...
If there's snow on the ground outside. Otherwise, I'm with you.

I camp in Wyoming for two months in the summer at 6800 feet next to the Clarksfork of the Yellowstone River. Mid 40s at night. Staying cool is not a problem. The daytime highs can surge up into the mid 70s low 80s. Windows open and one ceiling fan running keeps it comfortable.
Cape Canaveral for January and February. Rarely have to run A/C then. Open windows and ceiling fan does the trick most days and nights.
