For us regular folks, who ocasionally like to research & study, this thread is intended to collect, review & expand exposure to various hydronic & diesel air heating systems utilized in busses, trucks, boats, & RVs. Obviously, this technology has been around for quite some time and is available from many sources today. Some of it is designed to kill many birds with one stone, provide more flexibility in heating the coach, provide economical continuous hot water, preheat engine coolant, route engine heated coolant thru the same distributed heat exchangers when on the road, provide heat to bays & holding tanks, and operate on diesel fuel and/or electric power. The cost may, or may not, be higher than conventional systems but how much does it cost to install, seal & paint, operate & maintain all the stuff needed to accomplish the same thing and how much space do all the other gizmos take up.
