Is this the same thing as twerking? Both sound dangerous and could lead to body damage.

Looking at a couple of repair facilities:
1 RV Four Seasons, Denver area
2 Unlimited Collison and RV, Peoria, AZ
3 Altra Collision Center, Phoenix
4 Premier Coach Works, El Mirage, AZ
5 Las Vegas Custom RV Garage
If anyone has any info on them it would be greatly appreciated.
Special question for Brian, you mentioned that there are stencil or something like that for the paint masking? Would it be available for the repair facility?
Thanks to all..

My repair facility bought a set of them from Dynamax

I was at a gas station today and had to make a sharp right turn to leave the pumps, thought the tail would hit the pump for sure. I made the wife get out to watch the tail and tow car and I just inched it forward and swung as close as I dared to the guy filling across from me, to get a little more clearance. Then went as close as I could to the row of cars parked in front of the station, to get the tail as far from the pump as possible. I cleared everything by inches. People were looking and I bet they were thinking "this guy doesn't know how to drive", but I don't give a fig.
I also remembered to wait until the wife got back in before I got on the interstate.

Reading through these posts I am impressed with everyone's sense of humor about their mistakes. How refreshing! We all make mistakes and after a good moment of remorse, or anger, you just have to move on. I think contact with a firetruck makes for a cool story.

The only way we can laugh at these things is to wait long enough and be far enough away from where it happened that whoever was watching can't laugh at you, again.

I still haven’t decided what to do with mine, although I’ll probably end up giving my local guys a shot. They’ve pretty much convinced me that replacing the rear cap wouldn’t be worth it. Right now I’m rolling with about two packs of duck tape covering the holes in the fiberglass and hoping the damage doesn’t spread.

If you are sure there is nothing behind where the cracks end you could drill a small hole. This will stop the crack from spreading.

1 of 5 standard Utah plate options. There are at least a dozen different special plate options devoted to recognize military service.

As an update, looking at the rig what really caused most of the damage was the firetrucks front tire. There is a scuff mark on it and the lower end cap. Tire grabbed fiberglass and that was it. The firetruck's mirror and grab bar did a little damage that can be seen above the belt line about a foot forward of the end cap.

I'll have to send Utah information to Massachusetts registry. I used an A in place of the M in Massachusetts but it would not pass inspection.

Sorry to see this happen to any of us. These rigs are so beautiful. Good news is that it can be made to look like new by a good body shop. Make sure you get a good one.
BTW... The clicking noise coming from the front wheels is the hub caps. The cure is chrome edge trim from your local auto parts store. Rap it around the hub cap and re-install it. The clicking will be gone. :-)

I just joined the tail swingers club.
Who did you end up going with for the repair?

They did the repairs on the rear cap and my damaged RV door:
Jeremy B Wolin
General Manager.
BRC Coach & Transit
"formerly Big Rig Collision"
6857-P Speedway Blvd.
Las Vegas, NV 89115
P:702-632-2847
C:949-929-8931
F:702-965-2469
Semper Fidelis
Jeremy Wolin <jeremywolin@brccoachandtransit.com>
Took the coach to them to evaluate and do an estimate, which was more than what Progressive Insurance had come up with. Jeremy dealt with Progressive, who has really treated me well, and took care of all the details. Ordered the rear cap and kept me up to date on shipping progress. Took about 8-9 weeks IIRC. Dropped off coach when cap arrived and was kept up on progress. Took several weeks to complete; Jeremy sent the coach back to his paint shop a couple times because it didn't meet his requirements. When done I went to pick it up and you couldn't tell it had been replaced. Great job. Same as with the replacement door.
He likes email communication, so email him pictures of your coach and set up an appointment. Once you drop of the coach, don't worry, job will be done right. Hopefully, I won't need to use them for a third time, but if I did, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Pictures are off the rear cap and RV door masking of coach. No over spray.
