Isata 3 (2019) Loss of AC Power Troubleshooting
This morning we woke up with no AC power in the RV Confirmed power from the pedestal through surge protector and 30 amp power cord to RV all good and generator provides power to the AC panel.
It appears to me the auto transfer switch may have failed but I'm not sure where it's located to troubleshoot further. Also, any other suggestions for the loss of power would be appreciated.

I had a similar issue with a REV at the Tennessee rally.
They had it plugged in and wanted to show someone how quiet their snorkel made the gen...so they fired up the gen while plugged in. For some reason, the transfer switch got stuck in "gen mode" so they had an AC power loss and it was 96 degrees.
I think we unplugged, fired up the gen, let it run for a bit, then turned it off. Then we plugged in the coach.

here is some troubleshooting info with a similar TS.
Depending on floor plan I think that transfer switch is under the bed, but I will confirm once I have a floor plan.

Thanks, found the switch box after sending the post, it's under the bed beneath the nightstand. Now to access the electrical components. Pretty tight in there.

I would try unplugging first, then run gen, then off, then plug in.

If that does not work, then while plugged in, push it into place and see if it locks. If it does not, then it could be a bad transfer switch. Rare though...normally they just get stuck.

Opened the panel and voila. Fried pretty good. Fortunately, it didn't catch fire and spread.
Thanks for your quick response! Impressive as always.

It happened while we were sleeping, so I'm guessing the park lost power and this fried when it came back on, but who knows?

Obvsiouly no one call tell from a pic, but I sent it over to the experts to see what they can see.

As a side note, Dynamax has been using wago connectors for quite a while. It is a little more money, but is a better connection that doesn't rely on just the right torque and it is easier to identify what it is and if the connection is sound.
Forest River has recently made it a corporate standard to use wago where ever we can in place of bell caps, crimps, etc.
PD has done the exact same thing on all their transfer switches and 12V panels and I think WFCO followed suit. I have a message into them to see if it would be a direct swap...but it would be an upgrade in my mind.

I would bet that is caused from a loose connection on that terminal block.

That's the way I would lean. Which is why I think the Wago systems are better. This vehicle was retail sold in July 2018.

My first thought, too.

First thing I thought of when I saw the photo was "That connection was not tight and has been arcing.

I have a 2019 Isata 3 24 FW. Ours has a small panel door under the small night shelf at the very right of the bed. Crowded but you can do what needed with a mirror and light!

Thanks. I found it not long after my initial post. It's definitely cramped. I attached a couple of photos above.

Closing out this issue, a shout out to Mr. Clemens, who jumped on this within minutes of my initial post and then assisted with getting the part from Progressive Dynamics.
You can't get this level of customer service anywhere else.
