Isata 3 24FW - Side storage door leaks

We have had water inside a few times but thought it was due to storage door not adjusted quite right. (Good news is it doesn't rain much in Colorado.) Also, the RV seems to handle the water ok. No damage I can see.

I noticed today the issue is due to poor caulking around the door. You can see a small gap between RV and storage door frame.

I think a simple fix is to just add a small bead of caulk along the top of the door frame.

I'm sure this will work but not sure for how long. Do you think I need to remove the door frame and do a bit better job?

No, you better off just sealing as you said and check it now and then. Don't open another can of worms.
