Isata 3 can you identify this part?

2017 model year, located on the driver's side frame rail just aft of the holding tank drain hose storage tube. Wrapped with electrical tape and held in place with a couple of tywraps.

I can't get the picture to import properly, imagine it rotated 90° to the right.

Doesn't look like a "thing". Kind of looks like maybe a production break where wiring is spliced together etc. from various pre-laid wiring installs and then wrapped with tape.

Might just be a excess wire that was bundled up? Either that or its part of the Hopkins controller for the tail lights. Looks too small for that though.

That's a good thought. It looks like part of it is under the sewer hose storage tube and will get wet when the hose drains its last few drops. I'm going to relocate it a few inches and may as well open it up to satisfy my curiosity. I'll let you know.
