Isata 3 Freedom Edition Battery Disconnect

Three weeks ago I pressed the battery disconnect button in the entryway which I thought would completely disconnect the house batteries. When I returned to the motorhome after three weeks the batteries were discharged. So why would the batteries totally discharge in that time? What would be the proper procedure?

Did you check the battery compartment to see if there is another master battery disconnect switch? I had 2 disconnects in series on a tiffin 33AA...

What model & year of motorhome do you have?
It’s best to include make, model and year of your motohome in you signature so yo can get specific answers to your question. I have a DX3 and the indoor switch does not isolate everything. The main cut off in the battery compartment cuts almost everything. With my solar panels my batteries remain fully charged

2024 Isata 3 Freedom Edition- motorhome stored in a garage. I will use the switch in the battery compartment next time.

For future reference, the battery disconnect switch just shuts off anything tied into the Firefly panel, which is the majority of the coach. However, this does not completely shut off the batteries. You will have to use the knob outside in the battery bay to do so.

Shore Power

Do you have the Xantrex inverter charger and Lithium batteries with the eGEN power solution? If so, I was told to leave it on shore power when stored and that the system would maintain the batteries without overcharging them.

If this is incorrect, I would appreciate any input.

Thanks.
